Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application. By using our app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

User Accounts

To use our app, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate age information for verification
  • Use our authentication services as provided
  • Maintain the security of your account

Profile Content

Display Names

When choosing a display name, you must:

  • Use appropriate content suitable for all users
  • Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or harmful language
  • Not impersonate others or create misleading identities
  • Follow these technical requirements:
    • 2-30 characters in length
    • No special characters that may disrupt display
    • No consecutive spaces or unusual formatting

Profile Pictures

Profile pictures are optional. If you choose to add one:

  • It must be a real photo of yourself
  • The photo must be current and recognizable
  • You must have the rights to use and share the photo
  • The photo must not contain:
    • Explicit or adult content
    • Offensive or inappropriate material
    • Copyrighted material you don't own
    • Misleading or deceptive content

Prohibited Content

Display names must not contain:

  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Explicit or adult content
  • Personal contact information
  • Advertisements or spam
  • Copyrighted material without permission

User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for all content you post on our platform, including event descriptions, messages, profile information, photos, and any other material you share. All content you post must comply with these Terms of Service.

When using our app, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share inappropriate or offensive content
  • Attempt to manipulate or disrupt the service
  • Use the app for unauthorized commercial purposes

Zero Tolerance Policy

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment of any kind
  • Threatening, violent, or harmful content
  • Sexually explicit or adult content
  • Spam, scams, or fraudulent activity
  • Any content that violates the rights of others

Users who engage in such behavior will be immediately removed from the platform. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

Content Moderation

Content Filtering

We employ content moderation systems to detect and prevent objectionable content from being posted on our platform. This includes:

  • Real-time filtering of inappropriate language and content
  • Limits on how frequently users can post content to prevent spam and abuse

Reporting Objectionable Content

Users can report objectionable content or abusive behavior through:

  • In-app reporting features available on all user-generated content
  • Direct reporting of specific users or messages
  • Email reporting to support@astekita.com

All reports are reviewed promptly, and we are committed to acting on reports within 24 hours by removing objectionable content and taking appropriate action against offending users, including account suspension or permanent removal.

Blocking Abusive Users

Users have the ability to block other users who engage in abusive behavior. When you block a user:

  • You will no longer receive messages or content from that user
  • The blocked user will not be able to see your profile or interact with you

We encourage users to report abusive behavior in addition to blocking, so we can take appropriate action to maintain a safe community.

Developer Response Commitment

We are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. We will:

  • Review all reports of objectionable content within 24 hours
  • Remove objectionable content immediately upon verification
  • Suspend or permanently remove users who provide offending content
  • Take appropriate legal action when necessary

Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove inappropriate content, including display names, profile pictures, messages, and events
  • Request users to change their display names or other content
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
  • Permanently ban users who engage in objectionable behavior or provide abusive content
  • Update these terms as needed

Violations of our zero-tolerance policy will result in immediate account termination. We will notify users of significant changes to these terms through the app.

Event Liability and Safety

Our platform connects you with real people for real-world events and activities. Real-world interactions can involve risks and unexpected situations that are beyond our control. We are not responsible for what happens during these interactions or at events. Please exercise sound judgment and take appropriate precautions when meeting others and participating in events.

Platform Role

Our app is a platform that facilitates connections between users who wish to organize and attend events. We are not an event organizer, promoter, or host. We provide a technology platform that allows users to create, discover, and communicate about events. We do not:

  • Organize, host, or manage events
  • Verify the accuracy of event information posted by users
  • Screen or vet event attendees or organizers
  • Provide security, insurance, or safety services for events
  • Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any event

User Responsibility for Events

If you create an event on our platform, you are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of all event information you post
  • Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits required for your event
  • Obtaining any necessary licenses, insurance, or permissions
  • Ensuring the safety and security of event attendees
  • Any injuries, damages, or losses that occur at or in connection with your event
  • Resolving disputes with event attendees

Attending Events at Your Own Risk

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ATTEND EVENTS ORGANIZED THROUGH OUR PLATFORM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Before attending any event, you should:

  • Verify the accuracy of event information independently
  • Assess whether the event is appropriate for you
  • Take appropriate safety precautions
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Exercise your own judgment about your personal safety

Limitation of Liability for Events

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTEKITA, ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Personal injury, death, or property damage occurring at or in connection with any event
  • Loss or theft of personal property at events
  • Inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent event information posted by users
  • Events that are cancelled, postponed, or modified without notice
  • Disputes between event organizers and attendees
  • Any illegal, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct by event organizers or attendees
  • Any failure of event organizers to comply with applicable laws or regulations

YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE AND RELEASE ASTEKITA FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENDANCE AT ANY EVENT ORGANIZED THROUGH OUR PLATFORM.

No Warranty Regarding Events

We make no representations or warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of event information posted by users
  • The quality, safety, or legality of any event
  • The conduct of event organizers or attendees
  • Whether events will occur as described or at all

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ASTEKITA, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Any event you create, organize, or host through our platform
  • Your attendance at or participation in any event
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations in connection with an event
  • Any injury, damage, or loss caused by you or occurring at an event you organized

Subscriptions

Our app may offer premium subscription services with monthly or yearly billing periods.

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly basis
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your subscription is tied to your Tatapp account and applies only to the Tatapp account through which it was purchased
  • Subscriptions cannot be transferred between Tatapp accounts

Auto-Renewal

By purchasing a subscription, you agree that your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel it. The subscription fee will be charged to your payment method on file with your storefront account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) at the beginning of each renewal period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's storefront settings:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or Settings → Subscriptions)
  • Android: Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions

Refunds

Refund requests for subscriptions are handled by the respective storefront (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple or Google support for refund requests.

Account-Specific Subscriptions

It is important to understand that subscriptions are account-specific. Each subscription is associated with and applies only to the individual Tatapp account that purchased it. Subscriptions cannot be shared, transferred, or applied to other Tatapp accounts.

Additional Terms

These Terms may be updated with additional rules and guidelines. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
